Comprehensive Immigration Reform

The NAID Center has published a number of studies for the Center for American Progress, CATO Institute, among others, which compare comprehensive immigration reform and other immigration reform alternatives. The findings of this research overwhelming point to the immense benefits and advantages associated with a comprehensive immigration reform. This research has been used to develop a research-action policy agendas directed at local and national policymakers and civil society organizations.
US Comprehensive Immigration Reform

Comprehensive immigration reform that legalizes currently unauthorized immigrants and creates flexible legal limits on future immigration in the context of full labor rights would help American workers and the U.S. economy. Unlike the current enforcement-only strategy, comprehensive reform would raise the “wage floor” for the entire U.S. economy—to the benefit of both immigrant and native-born workers.
